An easy way to know the quality of ones character, is to see the people they surround themselves with. A wedding is a perfect occasion for a “people watcher” as myself, to really see this first hand. For most couples we photograph, we only take part in a small season of their lives.. while their wedding parties and guests have had a lifetime of experience & memories with them, earning them that spot on the seating chart.. They are the lucky ones who have gotten take part in the “story” of these peoples lives on a day to day basis. I love weddings for this reason. I remember my wedding day, and how I was so speechless every moment of it,… I was so overwhelmed by having every important person in our lives all in one place!! …it was almost too much to take in. Although I have only really known John for a matter of months (didn’t meet Anna until the wedding day), I could see what amazing people they were, simply by seeing who stood by them that day. John and Anna met at Santa Clara University when Anna was playing basketball there. I’ve heard it all began with a game of H-O-R-S-E..and the rest is history. They have a sincere love for God and Sports which is like INSTA-COMPATIBILITY:) John plays soccer with my husband Jason, and it has been amazing hearing about the LABOR of LOVE that went into making this day happen. Their wedding took place at Johns parents house in Hollister..and countless hours went into plowing the land, making the ceremony site, dance floor, and ambiance that you see here. It was day of burgers and bliss…and we were soo blessed to take a small part in it. Kudo’s to to my hubby for taking practically ALL of these amazing shots…
