It is safe to say that us Maxwells are crafty and loving souls... Jason and I have been married for almost 8 years now..and have 2 adorable and insanely comedic kids named Kyla (5) and Hayden (2)..that make life colorful.. to say the least:)
I have am a coffee lover, button, brooch and frilly dress collector..and feel that no outfit is complete without an over the top anthro-ish headband...it's a game changer people:) I'm an antique market junkie, and have a passion for making cards and accessories out of other peoples junk:) I truly believe I have the best friends on the planet, and a family who has given me a foundation to build a lifetime upon.
My husband Jason and I are so blessed to have eachother, and a job that allows us to find "togetherness" in all that we do. Photography has been somewhat of a window for us...into these amazing peoples lives. We love every essence of LOVE.. what it does to people, who it makes you want to be...and ultimately who you become as a result of it. We truly are honored to be a tiny slice in the lives of our clients..and to feel like family at the end of it all. We hope to continue to bless others with what we create, as the Lord continues to bless us in our lives....

Snazzie Drawers Shoot {Necklaces.that.make.my.heart.sing.}

We had the privelige of photographing some incredible necklaces from the ever so talented Joy Stallard. She has her own little Etsy shop called Snazzie Drawers where she sells patterns to her lacey-feathery-one of a kind creations..She sent them to me all the way from Texas..and I have to tell you..I am soo glad I get to keep a few of them..because I just fell in love the minute I laid my hands on them..you better believe I am going to buy the patterns!!! U know I am a sucker for dress up..this shoot was over the top fun. We used some dresses from our new store “Betroth” ( I know, I know..more info on that coming soon)..We have an amazing girl from the city named Della who sells insanely cute vintage gowns out of our studio..Delbarr, thank you for second shooting with me..and carrying all my furniture and purses…and random ropes:)A shout out to Camille Monique for doing beautiful makeup!!! Most of all… A huge thank you to Kellie and Mia for modeling for us..letting your hair down and getting a little sassy:)

There is noone doing this “old time” looking sepia style picture here and the people that want me to take pictures LOVE that look. can you call me soon and let me know on lightroom what you do to make it like this. I am really good at that program but want to keep on learning. I need to get out of the bar business and have TONS of people interested in getting pics! Please be my mentor. Hey Ashley! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL!!!!:)))
I especially love your cute little boutique.. I made Ryan Black Films buy me 2 dresses and a fun little bracelet that I went ga-ga over!! I totally modeled the same little light blue puffed out dress on display for a customer and because it looked “darling” on me, (which i purchased of course) and I happen to be the same size as her daughter in Virginia-she bought one for her too!!! ) I ALMOST had her sold on another piece, but she got back the control:), ha.. I was on fire..
Anyhow, was sooo nice to meet you in person last night. I seriously admire everything your hand touches. We got the chance to talk to your husband Jason a little more today and it was encouraging and inspiring. It is very evident that God has His hand on you guys and all that you are doing! Look forward to getting to see more of your work and soon, very soon )) being the client..yeah!!!

Hey Ashley, it’s Jada wifey of ryanblackfilms:) The light, props, everything is just stunning!!!!!!
It was really nice to meet you guys at Dave’s party. We got to stop by Betroth and thanks to hubby I got 2 dresses and a frekin amazing vintage bracelet.. Love everything!!!!! We had the chance to talk to your husband for a while. It’s very evident that God is just pouring out his blessing upon your business and life. Ryan and I both were very encouraged and inspired walking away from talking with your husband about all our passions and dreams, God and giving back to Him and just watching Him open up doors beyond our imaginations… Anyhow, hope all is well and soon, very soon hopefully we’ll be calling to set up pics!!!!
